Wilson Christian PreschoolOur Preschool’s mission is to develop young children's cognitive, social and spiritual growth in a loving Christian environment. Classes are available for children ages 2 ½ - 5.

Positive expressions like the one above are common at Wilson Christian Preschool. Our school creates a safe place and provides experiences that enrich each child’s cognitive, social and spiritual development with caring, experienced teachers in a loving Christian environment.
The small class sizes provide individualized educational activities with developmentally appropriate, hands-on, fun learning. Cognitive and social skills and spiritual values are integrated into each class. Open communication between home and school is definitely encouraged! Parents are invited to visit the school at any time.

Fall 2012/Spring 2013
It’s time once again to start thinking about registration for next year! Good "Word of Mouth" is continually cited as the No. 1 reason families register at Westside Community Preschool. It’s important that we let our friends and neighbors know how great our preschool is - so remember to pass the word!
Registration Dates Set
- Friday, Feb. 3rd has been set aside as the registration due date for current WCP children. Registration forms will be distributed beforehand through your child’s class.
- Monday, Feb. 6th is the date for siblings of current WCP students.
- Tuesday, Feb. 7th children of Wilson UMC members
- Wednesday, Feb. 8th children of WCP alumni families
- Thursday, Feb. 9th children on the 2011 waiting list
- Friday, Feb. 10th children new to the WCP program.
Registration will begin at 9:00 a.m. Some classes fill quickly, so please arrive early. As classes become full, we maintain waiting lists and register children when space becomes available. There is no fee to be on a waiting list.
Registration involves four steps:
1. Complete an enrollment form.
2. Pay the registration fee. This is non-refundable and due at time of registration ($65.00 per child,
$100.00 per family.)
3. Pay an art fee of $35.00 per child. This fee is non-refundable and due at the time of registration.
4. Provide a copy of each child’s current Immunization record and a Statement of Health, signed and dated by
a health care professional within the last 12 months, by the first day of school.

Class Descriptions
Early Learners
Born between Oct. 1, 2008 - Mar. 31, 2010
Tuesdays and Thursdays
9:00a.m.- 12:00 p.m.
$130.00 per month
In this class children will gain independence, expand appropriate social skills and develop preschool skills and concepts. They will become more independent learners. Snack is provided by the parent.
(2 teachers, min. 8 - max. 14 students)
Pre-Kindergarten
Born Oct. 2, 2007 - Oct. 1, 2008
Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays
9:00a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
$185.00 per month
Preparation for kindergarten becomes a stronger focus in the Pre-K classroom. Hands-on activities in literacy, math, science and more help children to develop the skills they will need to be successful in a formal kindergarten classroom. Lunch and snack is provided by the parents.
(2 teachers, min. 8 - max. 14 students)
Pre-Kindergarten 5 Day Program
Born Oct.2, 2007 - Oct. 1, 2008
Monday through Friday
9:00a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
$315.00 per month
Preparation for kindergarten becomes a stronger focus in the Pre-K classroom. Hands-on activities in literacy, math, science and more help children to develop the skills they will need to be successful in a formal kindergarten classroom. Social and emotional readiness remains a strong component. Lunch and snack is provided by the parents.
